This non-vented fuel cap is made for the deep-locking-tab filler neck used on compatible import-style replacement fuel tanks. Its steel body has a zinc-plated finish. The deep configuration places the cap locking tabs approximately 3/8 inch below the inner gasket, compared with approximately 1/4 inch on shallow-style caps. Applications include 1964–69 Chevrolet Chevelle (exc. El Camino and wagon), 1964–69 Oldsmobile Cutlass and other listed GM models when equipped with a matching deep-neck tank.
