1985–88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 4.3L In-Tank Fuel-Pump Strainer

Replacement pump-inlet strainer protects the electric in-tank pump from tank-borne particles.

This fuel-pump inlet strainer is a service filter for the original-style in-tank electric fuel pump fitted to compatible 1985–88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 4.3L applications. The strainer mounts at the fuel-pump intake to screen larger contamination before it enters the pump, helping protect the pump mechanism and fuel-delivery system. The strainer is a pump-service part, not a complete electric fuel pump or sending-unit assembly.
