An original-style pushrod replaces a worn drive component between the engine and mechanical fuel pump.

This original-style fuel-pump pushrod replaces the worn or damaged drive rod in the 1979-84 Chevrolet Malibu, El Camino and Monte Carlo V6 arrangement. It transfers the engine's actuating motion to the mechanical fuel pump. Use it with the matching V6 pump-drive configuration; no change to an electric-pump system is implied.
