This engine-mounted mechanical fuel pump serves the original-style carbureted fuel system in compatible 1979–84 GM G-Body V6 applications. The diaphragm pump is driven through the engine fuel-pump actuating mechanism and connects to the original two-line feed and return configuration. The original-style mounting flange positions the pump at the engine fuel-pump opening.
