1964–77 Pontiac V8 Mechanical Fuel-Pump Eccentric Assembly

Camshaft-mounted eccentric actuates the original engine-driven mechanical fuel pump.

This fuel-pump eccentric assembly is a reproduction of the camshaft-driven eccentric used on 1964–77 Pontiac V8 engines equipped with an original-style mechanical fuel pump. Secured at the camshaft timing-gear drive, the eccentric rotates against the fuel-pump actuating lever to create the pumping stroke. The assembly is different from the camshaft timing-gear bolt, retaining washer, thrust-plate hardware and the separate spacer used in applications without a mechanical pump. Reuse or replace those companion fasteners as appropriate to the original camshaft and eccentric setup; they are not established as part of this SKU.
