Convert your 1986 and earlier small-block Chevrolet engine to modern electronic fuel injection with the Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 EFI system. Designed for engines equipped with standard cylinder heads, this sequential multi-port injection system features a satin-finish aluminum single-plane intake manifold, a traditional 4150-style four-barrel throttle body and eight 29 lb/hr fuel injectors positioned near the intake ports for precise fuel delivery. Rated for engines producing up to 450 horsepower, the system operates at 58 PSI fuel pressure and features a throttle body capable of flowing up to 1,000 CFM. Unlike throttle body injection systems, Pro-Flo 4 delivers fuel directly into the individual intake runners for improved fuel distribution and engine response. Each system includes the assembled intake manifold, throttle body, fuel rails, injectors, a dedicated electronic control unit (ECU), plug-and-play distributor, labeled wiring harnesses and wideband oxygen sensor. Edelbrock's self-learning ECU communicates wirelessly through Bluetooth with the E-Tuner 4 application, allowing initial setup, engine monitoring and adjustments to air/fuel ratios, ignition timing, idle speed, acceleration enrichment and other operating parameters using a compatible smartphone or tablet. Dyno-developed base calibrations simplify initial startup, while the ECU continuously adjusts fuel delivery as the engine operates. A separate high-pressure EFI fuel delivery system is required for installation.
