Epoxy-sealed casting plugs, calibrated circuits and renewed components support dependable fuel metering.

This 750 CFM JET Performance® Streetmaster Quadrajet is prepared for stock engines with a spread-bore intake. Each hand-selected core is completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. Epoxy-sealed casting plugs help prevent fuel leak-down into the intake manifold. The circuits are checked for correct sizing, with jetting and primary/secondary metering-rod calibration matched to the intended engine combination. A new float, choke pull-off and bronze-bushed throttle shafts are installed during reassembly. The idle, off-idle, main, accelerator-pump and high-speed circuits are recalibrated for the stock-engine combination.
