Four-barrel 500-CFM carburetor features manual choke and calibrated fuel metering.

Edelbrock® 1404 Performer Series four-barrel carburetor has a 500-CFM airflow rating, square-bore flange and driver-operated manual choke. It is suited to smaller-displacement or moderate-airflow gasoline engine combinations that can use a non-EGR carburetor. The manufacturer’s baseline calibration specifies .086-inch primary jets, .095-inch secondaries, .065 ×.052-inch metering rods and orange 5-inch-Hg step-up springs. Timed and full-manifold vacuum ports accommodate compatible ignition advance connections.
