500 CFM Performer Electric-Choke Non-EGR Carburetor, Satin by Edelbrock®

A two-piece aluminum body and accessible metering rods simplify calibration on smaller street engines.

This Edelbrock® Performer 1403 square-bore carburetor is calibrated for smaller-displacement street engines, with 500 CFM airflow, an electric choke and satin finish. The lightweight, two-piece aluminum body resists warping. Metering rods can be changed without removing the carburetor or draining its fuel, and the design does not use power valves that can be damaged by an engine backfire. Once correctly adjusted, its calibration is designed to remain stable in daily use. Timed and full-vacuum ports accommodate compatible ignition-advance systems. Factory calibration is .086" primary/.095" secondary jets, .065" x .047" rods and orange 5-inHg step-up springs. This is the non-EGR, electric-choke version.
