1970–71 Chevelle & El Camino, 1970 Monte Carlo Quadrajet Carburetor Heat Shield (EEC)

Factory-style Quadrajet base shield reduces intake-manifold heat transfer to the carburetor.

This factory-style Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor heat shield installs between the carburetor and intake manifold to help reduce heat transfer into the carburetor and incoming fuel. It is used on 1970–71 Chevelle and El Camino and 1970 Monte Carlo with Evaporative Emission Control (EEC) equipment. The corresponding CB21725Z shield is also specified for 1970 Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, Impala, Nova, C10, K10 and Blazer, plus 1971 GMC Sprint, when equipped with the applicable Quadrajet system. Made in the USA.
