1" Phenolic 4150 Carburetor Spacer by AFR®

Heat-insulating phenolic material helps separate the carburetor from intake-manifold heat.

This AFR® 1" phenolic spacer is configured for a 4150-style carburetor. The heat-resistant material forms a thermal barrier between the intake manifold and carburetor to help limit fuel-bowl heat transfer. Choose the open-center 4450 or tapered four-hole 4460 version. The open layout favors added plenum volume for higher-rpm combinations, while the tapered four-hole design guides flow into the intake and can support midrange response. Performance depends on the engine combination. The cloverleaf profile and added height should be checked against the intake opening and available hood clearance. The spacers are designed for AFR® composite intakes and compatible aftermarket 4150-pattern manifolds.
