1971–78 GM Three-Port Evaporative-Emissions Vapor Canister
Three-port replacement canister collects fuel vapors for the original emissions-control system.
This three-port fuel-vapor canister replaces the original evaporative-emissions canister used on specified 1971–78 General Motors vehicles. Its molded housing provides the vapor-line connections used to retain fuel vapors and direct them through the original purge system rather than venting them to atmosphere. Connection count and hose routing must match the vehicle’s original emissions arrangement. The canister is intended for an emissions system with three service connections; check port placement before connecting the hoses.
