Air Intake Tube Lace-On Heat Shield, 2-1/2"-3-1/2" x 36" by Thermo-Tec®
A lace-on thermal barrier shields the intake tube from radiant heat without a fixed-diameter sleeve.
This Thermo-Tec® lace-on heat shield wraps around intake tubes from 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches in diameter and up to 36 inches long. The adjustable lacing closes the shield around the tube to help limit heat transfer into the induction air. Thermo-Tec® rates the shield to block over 98% of radiant heat up to 2,000 degrees F and withstand direct heat up to 750 degrees F. Four laces are supplied in blue, yellow, red and white so the finished installation can be matched to the engine compartment.
