This RESTOPARTS® kit supplies the valve-frame and operating components for the 1970-72 Chevelle flapper-door cowl-induction hood. The frame is a formed, stamped-steel reproduction of the original, and the flapper is injection-molded plastic. The package includes the frame, solenoid, flapper, mounting screws, plastic retainers, throttle switch and bracket, wiring harness and firewall relay. Together, these components mount and operate the hood's air valve. They are intended for an original flapper-door hood or the matching reproduction hood. This is the valve-frame mechanism kit, not a complete air-cleaner assembly.
