Reproduction electrical solenoid operates the hood-scoop air-door linkage.

This reproduction hood-scoop air-door solenoid is designed for compatible Pontiac Ram Air equipment. The electrical coil operates the air-door linkage when commanded by the vehicle’s Ram Air control circuit. It replaces the solenoid itself, not the related underhood wiring harness, control switch or complete hood-scoop door mechanism. The manufacturer includes this solenoid in its Pontiac hood-scoop electrical system listings, but the older 1973 GTO-specific fitment has not been independently established; confirm the vehicle’s original air-door hardware and wiring before choosing it.
