1969–70 Pontiac GTO Ram Air Upper operating cable
Factory-style Ram Air flapper control cable connects the hood operating linkage.
This reproduction upper operating cable is made for the 1969–70 Pontiac GTO Ram Air hood operating system. It links the factory Ram Air operating control to the corresponding hood flapper-door mechanism, allowing the driver’s control movement to actuate the fresh-air doors. The lower cable assembly and the upper cable serve different positions in the system and cannot be treated as interchangeable. Compare the original cable routing, end attachment and mounting points before installation. The upper cable is intended for the hood-side operating connection; the lower knob/cable is a separate item.
