Flowmaster® Delta Force intake #615118 replaces the factory air inlet on 2005–07 Classic-body GM 1500 trucks and SUVs equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L engines. A black cross-linked polyethylene inlet tube routes intake air through a serviceable eight-layer cotton-gauze conical filter. The kit includes a black powder-coated steel heat shield, reinforced silicone couplers, stainless hardware and installation brackets. The shield limits exposure to engine-compartment heat while the removable filter can be washed and serviced with a Delta Force cleaning kit. The stated 2007 fitment is for Classic-body vehicles, not the redesigned body style.
