Universal 14-Inch Offset Chrome-Steel Air-Cleaner Base by Specialty Products®

Chrome-steel air-cleaner base offsets the housing 1½ inches to clear large HEI distributors.

This 14-inch round air-cleaner base by Specialty Products® is stamped from chrome-finished steel. Its 1½-inch offset positions a compatible air-cleaner housing away from the distributor for additional clearance around large HEI caps. The 5⅛-inch opening accepts the standard carburetor air-cleaner flange used on many four-barrel carburetors, and the flat-style base is supplied with mounting hardware. Match the base to the carburetor flange, filter height and lid diameter rather than assuming it fits every HEI-equipped engine.
