This reproduction cowl-induction air-cleaner kit is intended for 1970–72 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino models with an operational cowl-induction hood and four-barrel carburetor. The assembled air-cleaner housing locates the filter opening beneath the hood induction flapper while the flange and surrounding seal complete the air path between the cleaner and cowl opening. Black or chrome lid finishes are available according to the chosen kit selection. The kit is designed for an existing functional cowl-induction hood arrangement; compare the carburetor air-cleaner flange, hood seal and opening location before ordering. The correct housing, flange and seals are important to maintaining the intended cowl-induction air path.
