A plastic adapter allows a standard-size air-cleaner base to seat on the smaller carburetor neck.

This plastic adapter ring matches a 5-1/8-inch air-cleaner base to a 3-1/16-inch carburetor neck. The ring fills the size difference between the two mounting diameters so the larger air-cleaner base can seat on the smaller carburetor. Match both diameters before selecting the ring; the two reducer sizes are not interchangeable.
