Merchandise that can be shipped FedEx Ground but exceeds normal size standards (over 130" in combined length plus girth) is considered "OS" or "oversized". FedEx charges an additional fee for such oversized items. Therefore, it is necessary to pay an additional $69.99 when purchasing parts that require oversized boxes. Oversize and additional handling surcharge rates listed apply to ground shipments; fees may be higher for express deliveries and shipments outside the contiguous United States.
What’s the difference between the two types listed? Each is quality galvanized steel just like the originals. They are both guaranteed in appearance, fit and finish. The main difference is the (better value) tank utilizes modern zinc-plated (galvanized) steel, whereas the galvanized tanks feature Nitern steel, which is impregnated with anti-corrosion agents just like the GM factory ones. Two schools of thought, both valid. Includes filler neck unless specified.
These fuel tanks are simply the finest the market has to offer at an incredible discount. Whether you choose top quality stainless steel or corrosion resistant galvanized steel, you’ll be thrilled with the superior workmanship and attention to detail. If you have purchased one of the inexpensive knock-offs elsewhere, you’ve likely found that they fit poorly, have a tendency to leak and are spray painted silver gray to the mask the inferior quality of the finished product. These cheaply made, mediocre tanks are generally a disappointment. Here at OPGI we will never compromise quality and always offer our customers the best there is.
