MSD engineers created this ignition system to be capable of running above 9,000 rpm, which is 50% more current than stock units that lose spark energy at approximately 4,500 rpm. This unit also delivers a much more precise timing signal. Features include a magnetic pick-up, billet reluctor, Tuftride-coated shaft that is guided by a sealed ball bearing and long sintered bushing and an adjustable mechanical advance assembly all enclosed in a billet aluminum housing that is CNC-machined. Available in original billet finish or black anodized base, with black cap and vacuum advance pod for a more subtle appearance. This is a complete set up, ready to drop in.
