These big brake kits utilize large 13” front rotors that have been cross-drilled, gas-slotted and zinc-washed for optimum looks and performance. Rotors are mounted to a precisely machined and anodized billet aluminum hub and stopping power comes from PBR C15 calipers that attach with custom mounting brackets. Front calipers feature 2 pistons, each measuring 52 mm in diameter and a large brake pad surface that provides over 60% more power than the popular C5 caliper. Rear brake kits feature 12” rotors that have been treated to the same drilling, slotting and zinc finish. Custom caliper brackets support the rear calipers, which feature a self-adjusting 1.78” diameter piston as well as an emergency brake for safety. Each kit works with stock or big brake spindles and comes complete with rotors, calipers, hoses, bearings, seals, brackets and all of the necessary hardware for installation. Big brake kits require the use of 17” front and 16” rear wheels.
Big brake kits keep wheels at the stock drum brake offset. The kit pulls the OEM disc brake offset in 7/16”.
Due to design differences, OPGI recommends that you do not mix brake conversions from multiple manufacturers.
