Maximum performance for up to 18:1 compression engines
These powerful starters are great for high-compression or difficult-to-start engines. With 200-ft./lbs. of torque and a 4.4:1 gear reduction, these Powermaster XS Torque starters will spin over any engine where tight spaces or heat soak are problems. They clear most headers and oil pan configurations and weigh only 8.5 pounds. Starters are available with “Infi-Clock,” which allows the starter body to be clocked in virtually any position, thus allowing for maximum clearance in tight spaces.
