Behind the Scenes of OPGI’s Cadillac Commercial

Earlier this year OPGI’s Marketing Team met with some late-model Cadillac owners. We invited 5 people to have their Cadillac’s photographed for use in our upcoming Late Model Cadillac parts catalog (CTS, ATS, STS, XLR, and Escalades) as well as a chance to appear in our commercial for our extended product line. Those 5 Cadillac’s quickly turned into over 20 and they all cruised into the lot simultaneously.

After months of scouting locations and coordinating dates with the Cadillac owners, OPGI Team and production team at Power Automedia, we were finally able to lock in a shoot date and location, El Toro Marine Field in Irvine, Ca. It was an overcast but perfect day for a shoot on a Sunday afternoon and the Power Automedia team went straight to work staging and shooting some still shots.

After we got some cool photos, it was time for the owners to play and show us what Performance was. Let me just say, they exceeded our expectations in fact they didn’t just show us, we heard what performance was. Engines were revving, exhaust systems were roaring and tires were just shredding on the asphalt, it was exhilarating.

After several months and a lot of hard work put in from the Power Automedia team, our Modern Cadillac commercial was approved and ready to be broadcasted on national television. You can catch this airing on the Motor Trend Network, NBC Sports, and NFL Network.
