As one of the most powerful exhaust systems for A-Bodies with large displacement engines, the Flowmaster "American Thunder" system features 16-gauge, mandrel bent 3" diameter tubing. All three kits come with "30-Series" mufflers. The tailpipes included are a two-piece and install easily. The kit also features an adjustable crossover pipe to fit a variety of applications and has all the hangers and clamps that fit in the factory locations, included. The 1964-67 kit exits the tailpipes behind the rear wheels pointed at the ground, while the 1968-72 and 1964-72 kits exit out the back at the bumper.
